We would like to welcome Tori and Jack to Grade 1A. Tori has moved from Wembley P.S. and began at the beginning of Term 2. Jack started with us this week. He has joined us from Woodend P.S. They have both settled in very well and we hope they enjoy their schooling at New Gisborne P.S.

We are currently learning different strategies to solve subtraction equations. One activity that is proving popular is a subtraction game using dice. The children take it in turns of rolling the dice and subtracting the number from 100. The first to reach 1 is the winner.
